Last evening, we were invited to the house of The United States Consulate for a Thanksgiving feast. I felt at home with a heaping plate full of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and a variety of green vegetables.
We shared dinner with UN employees, representatives from the US State Department and US security. We told stories and jokes throughout the meal. As we were finishing, a familiar sound reached my ears. I ran from the table and watched the halftime show for the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
It was a fantastic night.
