We are settled in our house. It is an open, airy, marble-tiled place with five large bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a nice dining area with a water cooler and a large refrigerator.
The house is used by expatriate PIH employees working in St. Marc. Currently we have two trauma surgeons, an anesthesiologist, an orthopedic resident, a rehabilitation doctor and a nurse.
After work, the atmosphere is lively. We sit around, eat a large meal, drink a beer and everyone tells funny stories. One of the surgeons has an infectious laugh that makes everyone smile.
However, around 9pm, we all start yawning. One by one, we head-off to bed.
